Worth Fighting ForAfter weeks of impromptu rehearsals between four close friends, Worth Fighting For’s then informal gatherings soon surpassed their initial recreational intentions. After acquiring 1st place in the 2005 Lucid Eye Productions Battle of the College Bands, “a battle to determine the best college band in the southeast,” and independently releasing “Bullets or Backfires” later that year, the band’s passion for quality and dedication were clearly evident. With tantalizing guitar riffs blended with inviting choruses, Worth Fighting For are a must-see in 2006. http://www.fidelitydesigns.com/worthfightingfor http://www.myspace.com/worthfightingforfl [^] |

MobellaTake a diverse and eclectic assortment of music and throw it
into a metaphysical blender. Allow the ingredients to mesh together
and let them brew for about 5 months, then pour this disgusting
pulp into your ears, and you will experience that which is MOBELLA.
After the initial stages of musical configuration, Mobella has
exposed its sound (a hybrid of jazz, rock, soul, funk, +
R&B) on the Orlando area to much welcoming praise and
excited interest; with such a unique style, Mobella attracts
a very diverse crowd. Since starting to make some noise in both
the downtown and UCF area, Mobella now looks to continue playing
for those who enjoy good music and crave more than what today's
bland uniformity has to offer. Future ambitions include reaching
other areas in the state of Florida, and eventually spreading
through the Southeast region of the country. Booking: mobellamusic@gmail.com [^] |
